| The DX series of drivers are an excellent choice for the Medallion II
cabinet. They have a very full bodied sound and mate wonderfully with the Medallion
II as well as with other rear horn type enclosures. The character of the high frequency response of the Lowthers changes with magnet strength and type. The DX2 has better highs than the PM6A, but not better than the PM2A. The DX3 comes within a hair of the performance of the PM2A, and at a very attractive price! Of the DX series, the DX3 is the best compromise between performance and price.
